Le Garde Manger Ponsonby is open since July 2016. We took over Frenchie, formerly La Cantine.

The restaurant is the little sister of the Queen street one, with a very similar menu. The ambiance is French off course.

Set menus are available for groups. They must be booked in advance. Our space upstairs is divided into 2 rooms, one of about 20 people, one , smaller, for 10 people. We appreciate one set menu for the whole group. Payment can be split.

A daily set menu is offered as well as special dishes.

The raclette menu is on all year. $37.50 per person, including 200g raclette cheese, 100g of charcuterie, salad, potatoes. Vegetarian version available($35.50). Booking essential.

We also offer a breakfast set menu for groups over 12 guests. Ideal for a business meeting upstairs. A screen and projector can be organized.

"Fantastic food and great atmosphere with comfortable decor. This place makes you feel at home and yet provides quality service and fun food. The best place in Queen street. I want to try it at lunchtime next time."
